Since Gris-Gris rips apart his squeaky toys I am knitting a sock monkey to cover one of the squeakers. I am making it large so I can felt it in an attempt to make it tougher and less likely to rip apart.
Both Eva and Gris-Gris are two rescued French bulldogs that were older dogs when I adopted them from the French Bulldog Rescue Network, while Eva enjoys fairly good health Gris-Gris is being treated for heartworm.
