Sock Monkey Revisited

I finished making Gris-Gris a sock monkey to cover one of his squeakers. After knitting and felting it I gave it to him while it was still damp because he wanted it so very much. Needless to say within 5 minutes he had ripped a hole in its muzzle which I sewed back up so now it looks more like a shrunken head trophy than a sock monkey. Oh well, I underestimated Gris-Gris' distructive abilities.

Both Eva and Gris-Gris are two rescued French bulldogs that were older dogs when I adopted them from the French Bulldog Rescue Network, while Eva enjoys fairly good health Gris-Gris is being treated for heartworm.
